He lifted his chin and stared down at her. “I happen to have the time. Problem?”
She handed the jewelry box over to him. “Here, this is the one.”
He raised his brow. “Aren’t you going to invite me inside? Afraid that I might find out that you’ve turned your house into a dog’s den?”
He had successfully drawn her ire. “Would you like a slap, Jackson West? Would you?”
