Tanya calmed herself. “Tiffany, will you be seeing Jackson tonight?” she carefully asked.
Tiffany shook her head without hesitation. “No. He just asked me out. I’ve refused.”
“Why not?” Tanya asked.
Tiffany patted her waist. “This medicated ointment. I smell like a seventy-year-old lady. My fresh, young fragrance is all but gone. I can’t see my ex like this. That won’t do. My image is still important to me.”
A hint of disappointment flashed across Tanya’s eyes. “I’m sorry... I didn’t think of that. I just thought that you’d feel better after applying those medical patches.”
