Just as he was feeling around the wall to turn on the lights, Tiffany stopped him. “No! I like having the lights off. I’m feeling a bit shy.”
He knew what was on her mind. She worried he would be turned off by her stretch marks. He smiled and kissed her forehead. “Aren’t you silly? You’re usually shameless, I didn’t know you’re capable of feeling embarrassed. I’d never be turned off by you. You gained these marks because you had my child. They’re your medal of honor.”
Tiffany fell for his words. He really did have a glib tongue that helped him to deliver all those smooth words.
Jackson turned on the light when she was still lost in her thoughts.
Tiffany quickly grabbed the covers and hid her body as soon as the lights came on. “Aw, come on! I don’t want the lights on. Give me time to adjust!”
