Arianne did not respond to her. After they went upstairs, she asked Tiffany not to switch on the light. Then, she walked to a window with a good view and looked down at the streets that were lit by street lamps in the neighborhood so she could clearly see the people downstairs. However, she was on a high floor so she could not see their faces clearly. Even so, she could see a few tall men in black suits. She felt unexplainably nervous and did not know What to do. Those people had training in martial arts, she could tell by the way they carried themselves. They were highly vigilant as well. She knew all these since the bodyguards, who were retired mercenaries or professional bodyguards, who worked for the Tremonts were the same way. Her instinct told her these people were the same.

When Tiffany saw Arianne behaving strangely, she approached Arianne and asked, “What are you doing? Why didn’t you allow me to switch on the light? Didn’t you say you needed to pee?”

Arianne covered Tiffany’s mouth and closed the drape. “We’re being targeted. When we were on our way home earlier, I felt someone was watching us in the neighborhood.
