Tiffany’s head swam. She had a pitifully low emotional quotient and didn’t know what to do. Left with no choice, she turned to Eric for help. “Ah... Eric, your girlfriend has just returned to the country, you should spend more time with her. Stop being such an insensitive man.”
Vicky pranced happily back to Eric’s side before he could say another word then hugged his arm as she buried her head into his shoulder in an adorable manner. “My Ricky is only an ‘insensitive man’ to other women. He’s really considerate towards me! Didn’t you want to buy presents for your friend’s baby? Let’s go. Ricky’s aesthetic sense isn’t as good as mine. I’ll choose on his behalf!”
When they arrived at the second floor of the mall, Tanya finally couldn’t resist making an excuse to go to the bathroom. Tiffany hurriedly ran after her. Tanya silently stood in front of the bathroom sink, with a sunken look on her face. Tiffany carefully apologized, “I wasn’t aware that Eric already had a girlfriend. I was wondering why nothing happened between you two after living together for so long. He’s already got a girlfriend, so that explains it... It’s alright, there are many good men out there. Let’s just find another one.”
Tanya took a deep breath and forced herself to calm down. “It’s fine, it was only a small surprise and an embarrassment... Besides, Vicky is certainly better looking than I am. Her figure is better than mine too. The handbag she has costs a grand. I’m not worthy.”
“You’re not so bad yourself,” Tiffany immediately objected. “You just haven’t found the right one. What do you mean, ‘not worthy’? Stop imagining things. Maybe you should go home if you’re uncomfortable. It’s my fault for dragging you out here.”
