In the middle of the night, she sent a message to Mark after a bout of hesitation, 'Are you busy? I’ve heard that something’s happened to your international companies.'

She chose to send that message in the middle of the night due the time difference in a foreign country. Both parties had to work together for a relationship to grow. It didn’t make sense if she didn’t show him any concern.

The general reason was that all industries under the Tremont family had displayed many problems, which tarnished his reputation. For example, someone had discovered fake products in a jewelry store under the Tremont family, and there were even cases of tax evasion. The entire world was abuzz with his scandal.
