The woman in red was shocked. She stood behind Ethan, too afraid to speak. She was only a secretary, and the necklace was supposed to be for a female client.
Tiffany did not expect for Ethan to buy something for her like that. She sneered, “I’ve already eaten the Chinese-style omelet wraps that you previously bought. Forget about the necklace. I can’t afford it, and I certainly can’t afford having you buy it for me.”
Arianne pulled out her black card from her bag, “Swipe it on mine. I’m buying it.”
Ethan insisted on swiping his card, completely unaffected by Tiffany’s rejection and icy words.
He pointed at another necklace as he swiped the card, “Wrap that one up for me as well.”
