Hanno spoke as he reached his rough hand toward the floor tiles. He pressed gently on a nearly invisible gap between them.
With a quiet click, the tile came loose, and Hanno lifted it free. Beneath the floor lay a piece of yellowed parchment, resting silently. He retrieved it and unfolded it in his hands.
Matthew leaned in, curiosity lighting his eyes.
He already knew of one route to leave this place, but he wanted to confirm whether it was truly the only way out of this chaotic seabed region.
