Aboard the Medusa Warship, Matthew stared coldly at the fast-approaching swarm of sharks in the distance. The smile on his face slowly vanished, replaced by a hardened expression.
"They say animals are more sensitive to the threat of death than humans," he muttered. "Looks like these ones have been swimming in saltwater so long they've lost what little brains they had, if they had any at all..."
Ryan heard him and sprinted toward the main deck gun. As he took his position, the massive cannon activated with a mechanical growl.
The menacing snake-shaped gun turret swiveled, locking on to the frenzied movement just above the ocean's surface.
Boom!
