"It's a shame I only learned about Miss Sasha after she's married. Still, she and Mr. Matthew Larson are the perfect match for each other. He's the head of the Summit Warden of Martial League and the Holy Doctor of Cathay. An ordinary person could never imagine themselves holding one ofthe titles. Yet, Mr. Larson achieved both of the titles..."
Tritus' compliment brought a smile to James' face. "Oh, please, Mr. Tritus. You're too kind. It's fate that brought Sasha and Matthew together. Even if Matthew isn't a big shot, we won't stand in their way as long as Sasha likes him."
The two exchanged pleasantries. James failed to notice Helen's darkened expression.
"Matthew used to be humble and respectful when he served us at home. Now he has become the Summit Warden, he becomes full of himself. He doesn't even respect us anymore."
Her mockery made James' smile slip. He tilted his head and whispered, "Why did you bring that up?"
