Gadel radiated a murderous aura, and the Eagle Sword in his hand seemed to glow with a dark crimson hue.
"What's the matter? Decided not to keep fighting?" he asked, a sneer playing on his lips as he looked at the ministers and generals kneeling in the blood-soaked mud.
"We wouldn't dare," the Minister of Military Affairs replied, his voice thick with regret. "After His Majesty passed away, Iris deceived us into believing she was his chosen successor. We never imagined things would turn out this way."
His words were heavy with sorrow, tears streaming down his face as he spoke. "Iris is a fool, cruel and heartless. She's driven our kingdom into an abyss. We beg you, Your Highness Prince Gadel, to take control and restore peace to Montiria!"
Arnold and Jaylen appeared by Gadel's side, their gazes icy as they surveyed the kneeling ministers.
