Danny took a deep breath and looked at Isabelle. “Never mind. I’ll go ask my dad for some help!”
Danny didn’t care about Bella’s warning against seeking family assistance.
Isabelle looked at him as he spoke. “If it weren’t for me, Jim wouldn’t have even mentioned. And disregarding the bet, Bella’s attitude earlier really pissed me off!”
Meanwhile, Jim responded quickly, and Isabelle typed away while chatting with him. She listened as Danny threw out ideas.
Danny suggested she ignore Bella if she lost, like what happened with Alex in the car race. But, in the end, Danny was surprised when Bella posted about it on the forum, making it school–wide gossip in just one class period.
