The annual Duel Tournament was the most significant and highly anticipated event in Melfrey, organized and supervised by the most powerful and influential organization in the region, the God’s Armament Alliance.
Two days before the start of the Duel Tournament, more than half of the participants had already arrived, and accommodations in the surrounding area had been fully booked over half a month ago.
The commoners would think they would secretly hold such a large–scale, bloody, and violent event. On the contrary, the Duel Tournament had become a part of the local culture, held in a prosperous area near the northwest of Melfrey.
The west side of the venue was the bustling city area, while on the other side was an endless desert.
People wandered outside the yet–to–be–opened venue from time to time. The Duel Tournament was scheduled to last a full ten days. Those who couldn’t find accommodation brought tents and skillfully set up camp in the desert. Isabelle and her team were no exception.
