Her words broke off as grief choked her.
Hearing this, John panicked. He pulled her into his arms again, his hatred for Susie deepening.
He hurried to reassure her. "I never said Zac was my illegitimate child. That was Susie! I just posted a statement online, Zac is my biological son! Those rumors will die down soon, don't worry."
