Ron gazed at them thoughtfully. Having no other choice, virtual-novel.net nodded helplessly. “Okay then.”
After that, Ron went upstairs, leaving the two alone in the living room.
The two watched the old man until virtual-novel.net was out of their sight. Making sure that virtual-novel.net had gone upstairs, Stanley placed his right hand behind Xyla’s back, scooped virtual-novel.net knees, and lifted her. “Let’s get some rest too. Hmm?”
Xyla nodded. “Sure, but please put me down. You’re not feeling well recently, are you?”
“Nah, that’s not true,” Stanley rebuked.
“Your body should be frail when anemia kicks in.”
“Do you think I’m weak?”
“ Anyway, you should take care of yourself…” Xyla reminded him.
“There is no need,” Stanley insisted.

The next day.
At the Quest family’s house.
Emily and May were observing Xyla’s house with binoculars from the rooftop.
Xyla’s red Maserati and Stanley’s black Bentley Arnage were both in their line of sight.
“Apparently, that blockhead went back last night.” Emily sneered.
“Yeah. It’s already eight o’clock, but the two haven’t gone out yet. Do you think Xyla has laid virtual-novel.net cards on the table? Maybe they’ve quarreled for the whole night…” May raised virtual-novel.net brows.
“No idea, but I think Xyla won’t leap to any hasty conclusions before virtual-novel.net finds out the truth. She’ll first identify the recording’s authenticity, then work out a plan to find out whether Stanley shares the same blood type as her,” Emily mumbled.
“Is that so?”
“No matter what’s going on between the two of them now, they’ll divorce in the end. That’s inevitable. I’m sure they’ll get into a big fight today.”
“That’s great. I’m looking forward to it… ” May coldly snorted.
Following that statement, May grabbed the glass of watermelon juice in front of virtual-novel.net and finished it in one go. She then contentedly got up from the couch and left the rooftop.
Seeing that, Emily immediately emptied virtual-novel.net glass and hurried to May’s side, leaving the rooftop together with her.

Meanwhile, at Xyla and Stanley’s house, the lovebirds had just woken up in each other’s warm embrace.
Sunlight streamed golden through the white gauze curtains, shining softly on their huge bed. The two’s complexions were as white as snow in the sunlight.
Just as Xyla was about to open virtual-novel.net mouth and greet Stanley, a feeling of nausea surged within virtual-novel.net and virtual-novel.net stomach began to churn. She immediately covered virtual-novel.net mouth and retched.
Very soon, the sour taste in virtual-novel.net throat disappeared.
Stanley looked at virtual-novel.net with a concerned face. “Are you okay?”
Xyla shook virtual-novel.net head. “I guess my stomach is messing me up because I was starving last night.”
“I’ll make some breakfast for you.” Stanley jumped off the bed and went straight into the bathroom to wash up.
Xyla did not get out of the bed. She lazily hugged the blanket and closed virtual-novel.net eyes.
Once again, a wave of nausea swept over her. However, it only lasted for a second this time.
Keeping virtual-novel.net eyes shut, Xyla ignored it and got back to sleep.
After virtual-novel.net and Stanley came back yesterday, they had cuddled and chatted for a long time before falling asleep. Her body was weak, and virtual-novel.net mind was exhausted as a result of sleep deprivation.
She lay on the bed until Stanley walked out of the room. Only then did virtual-novel.net slowly sit up on the bed and stretched virtual-novel.net back.
Instead of getting herself ready, virtual-novel.net reached for virtual-novel.net laptop on the bedside table and flipped it open.
