“Cancel the contract with Faye White.” Xyla Quest dived right into business.
“Why? She is a great actress and has a lot of potential. Canceling the contract with virtual-novel.net directly would be a shame. I’ve always believed that virtual-novel.net could become the most popular celebrity among the generation of youths born after 1995.” Georgie sounded surprised.
“How could someone as arrogant as virtual-novel.net possibly achieve that?” Xyla asked.
“What’s the matter? Did virtual-novel.net do something bad to you?” Georgie asked.
“She was arrogant when virtual-novel.net spoke to me. It happened in a shopping mall. With a personality like hers, it won’t matter if virtual-novel.net became popular. She’s already this full of herself before virtual-novel.net had even become famous. I can only imagine how much worse it could get once virtual-novel.net does become famous. What if someone digs up negative things about her? I don’t care if virtual-novel.net ends up ruining virtual-novel.net career, but what would happen to the money we have invested in her?” Xyla said.
Xyla could actually choose to bury Faye’s talent. But virtual-novel.net did not want to be so cruel because virtual-novel.net had always known that being in the entertainment industry was not easy for anyone.
Someone with a personality like Faye was not allowed to stay in X Entertainment. Xyla did not want to waste resources on a person like her. Being in the entertainment industry herself, Xyla had seen far too many actresses with Faye’s attitude. After becoming famous, they would come crashing down and never find their way back to success.
“When I first brought virtual-novel.net into the company, virtual-novel.net seemed fine. Ever since virtual-novel.net career started, and after gaining some fame, virtual-novel.net became a little too full of herself. I told virtual-novel.net agent to talk to virtual-novel.net about it long ago. I thought virtual-novel.net would change,” Georgie said.
“She won’t change. Cancel the contract,” Xyla said as virtual-novel.net pinched virtual-novel.net nose bridge. After that, virtual-novel.net got into virtual-novel.net red Maserati and placed one hand on the steering wheel.
“Okay, I’ll do as you say,” Georgie said.
“Oh, yeah, President Xyla, I have some gossip to share with you. Would you like to hear about it? I swear it’s true. ” Georgie suddenly sounded very mysterious.
“What is it?” Xyla suddenly felt a little curious.
“Tom Sullivan went to see a psychiatrist yesterday. Do you know why?” Georgie said.
“Why?” Xyla asked.
“Because the female body now repulses him. Whenever a woman gets close to him, virtual-novel.net would feel nauseous. He can’t even stand his own mother and little sister,” Georgie said gleefully.
Xyla had not expected to hear this at all.
Why would a normal man behave in such a way?
“Is that true? Who did you hear it from?” Xyla asked.
“My friend. I have a friend who works as a psychiatrist. Tom Sullivan went to him. When my friend asked virtual-novel.net why it had happened, Tom refused to say a word. He even paid my friend to keep it a secret,” Georgie said.
“That sure is good news.” Xyla snorted coldly.
Although virtual-novel.net did not know why it happened to Tom, virtual-novel.net still felt happy about it. The only reason a normal man would find a woman’s body repulsive was if virtual-novel.net had gone through a horrifying experience with a woman in bed. There was no other plausible explanation for it. Xyla was curious about what kind of a woman Tom had bumped into to have caused such a thing to happen to him.
One thing Xyla was sure of was that this woman could not be Emily Quest. When Tom tried to rape virtual-novel.net the other day, virtual-novel.net still seemed normal.
Tom must have been addicted to cheating. He was having sex with other women even before virtual-novel.net had divorced properly. But Xyla was not particularly surprised by the idea.
After the call ended, Xyla returned to the shopping mall to buy a piece of jewelry with the same value as Sharon’s gifts. After that, Xyla drove away.
Every street was decorated with red lanterns. Each store had red spring festival couplets hung in front of their doors. It felt as if the entire world was celebrating a festive season. Xyla was reminded of the sentiments of celebrating the new year.
Last night, Stanley Batton had told virtual-novel.net that virtual-novel.net would be busy on new year’s day. Hence, virtual-novel.net would not be coming home for lunch. Since Xyla was not feeling hungry yet, virtual-novel.net took a spin around the city.
By one o’clock in the afternoon, Xyla had returned home with some takeaway food.
