A lot had happened tonight, some of which really subverted Melgor’s outlook. He could not help but start recalling some of the things he had said to Milo.
When Melgor initially captured Milo, the other party was told he would not want to return to the Central Plains anymore after he found out how powerful sorcerers were.
Later, when Melgor and the two servants got ambushed, Melgor branded Milo an oaf and told him not to rashly pursue the attacker. He didn’t think Milo had any chance against a sorcerer.
And even later, it seemed like he had something to criticize daily regarding Milo’s bragging too.
In this train of thought, Melgor could not help but peek on Milo’s expression. Seeing that Milo did not seem to bear a grudge against him, Melgor slowly relaxed.
