But when Lodan turned around, he was surprised to find the students were already scared silly. The appearance of the barbarians was already terrifying enough. These students from Vasophati University were all protected even during the battle in Bidara City, so they had never seen real bloodshed before.

This was because the students who were taken hostage together with Milo were freshmen while these seniors were taken to safety by the school’s teachers after the thugs had entered the campus.
