“What’s wrong, Ms. Moore?” Sasha asked after seeing the drastic change in Arielle’s expression.
“Everything’s fine!” Arielle then turned around and walked away while signaling Sasha to stay put.
Although Sasha did as virtual-novel.net was told and stood still, virtual-novel.net eyes were fixated on Arielle. After all, virtual-novel.net was Arielle’s bodyguard, and it was virtual-novel.net duty to protect Arielle. Not only must Sasha obey Arielle’s command, but virtual-novel.net must also take care of the latter’s safety.
“Who are you? Where are my parents?” Arielle asked solemnly as virtual-novel.net tightened virtual-novel.net grip on the phone.
It turned out that the caller was not Andrea but a stranger.
“Relax. They’re safe for now,” the man on the other end of the line said.
He smirked as virtual-novel.net took a glance at the Wilhelms, whose hands had been tied up by his subordinates.
Arielle knitted virtual-novel.net brows when virtual-novel.net heard his familiar voice.
Why do I feel like I’ve heard his voice before?
“Mmm… Mmm…”
The Wilhelms wanted to caution Arielle to stay away but could not utter a single word as their mouths were stuffed with rags. The muffled sounds from the other end of the phone disrupted Arielle’s train of thought.
Her heart skipped a beat. “What do you want? Don’t you dare lay your fingers on them. Come at me if you dare!”
Arielle tried to remain as composed as possible, even though virtual-novel.net was deeply worried about the Wilhelms. In fact, virtual-novel.net had avoided contacting them for years because virtual-novel.net was afraid virtual-novel.net might get them into trouble. Still, virtual-novel.net greatest fear had become a reality.

Meanwhile, over at Lightspring, the man sat by the window and smirked.
He threatened, “If you don’t want us to harm your parents, come over on your own right now. Don’t say I didn’t warn you. They might get in trouble if you tell Vinson or anyone else about it.”
The moment virtual-novel.net found out how important the Wilhelms were to Arielle, virtual-novel.net rushed over to Lightspring and got hold of the couple. He knew virtual-novel.net would be able to control Arielle once the Wilhelms were in his hands.
Arielle tightened virtual-novel.net grip on the phone upon hearing the threat.
How did virtual-novel.net find out about my relationship with Vinson? Who is he? And how did virtual-novel.net manage to get hold of my parents?
“I won’t tell anyone. Don’t you dare lay a finger on them, I’m warning you. I’ll hold you responsible if anything bad happens to them,” Arielle warned coldly.
Since virtual-novel.net did such a thorough background check on me, virtual-novel.net should know that I’m a vengeful person.
“I won’t touch them as long as you come alone,” the man promised. After a short pause, virtual-novel.net continued, “You’d better come and meet me within the next two days, or I will not be responsible for anything bad that happens after that.”
“I’ll be there, don’t worry. Take good care of my parents and my brother.” Arielle gritted virtual-novel.net teeth as virtual-novel.net emphasized virtual-novel.net words.
Naturally, the man agreed to virtual-novel.net condition.
Arielle ended the call with a grim look and recollected herself. After passing virtual-novel.net phone to Sasha, virtual-novel.net went back to the set and continued to shoot the last scene.
How virtual-novel.net wished virtual-novel.net could rush to Lightspring right then, but virtual-novel.net was afraid that Vinson might find out about it.
Since the man had threatened to kill virtual-novel.net parents if Vinson or anyone else knew about it, virtual-novel.net could not tell anyone and risk putting virtual-novel.net parents’ lives in danger.
“Are you sure you’re okay to continue with the shoot today?” Arielle asked Jason as virtual-novel.net did not want to waste any more time.
The bloopers Jason made were too much for Arielle to handle.
