Cecilia knew virtual-novel.net daughter was a smart woman who knew what virtual-novel.net was doing, so virtual-novel.net didn’t ask any further questions. All virtual-novel.net did was do as virtual-novel.net daughter asked and sent someone to look into Arielle.
Arielle had a simple background. Nothing too outstanding, but virtual-novel.net photo caught Cecilia’s eye. When virtual-novel.net saw the photo, Cecilia was drawn to it, immersing herself in Arielle’s face for a long while. When virtual-novel.net snapped out of it, virtual-novel.net realized that virtual-novel.net had stared at the photo for ten long minutes. And Cecilia was a woman. On top of that, Arielle didn’t have any makeup on, since it was just an ID photo.
All of a sudden, virtual-novel.net knew why Cecilia wanted to know everything about Arielle. This girl is a threat. And a big one at that.
Her husband used to cheat on virtual-novel.net with another beautiful woman, but Cecilia won out in the looks department, so virtual-novel.net managed to win virtual-novel.net husband back in the end. After virtual-novel.net collected virtual-novel.net thoughts, Cecilia called virtual-novel.net daughter.
Wendy picked it up quickly. “You’re done?” She was curious. “That’s fast.”
“Yeah. Sent you the email. Make sure it’s not in the junk file.” Cecilia coughed. “Wendy, she’s a simple girl, but she’s gorgeous. Ruin virtual-novel.net if you can, and keep virtual-novel.net away from Vinson no matter what.”
Of course Vinson would fall for her. What man wouldn’t? Heck, I almost fell for virtual-novel.net too, but that’s beside the point. The point is, this Arielle girl is bad news!
Cecilia thought Wendy would say something, but when virtual-novel.net didn’t get any answer, virtual-novel.net heart sank. “Wendy, Vinson saw virtual-novel.net already, didn’t he? Don’t tell me they’ve already met?”
Wendy still wouldn’t answer, but Cecilia knew that virtual-novel.net guess was true. After all, virtual-novel.net was Wendy’s mother.
Cecilia gasped, but virtual-novel.net calmed down quickly. “Calm down, Wendy. I’ve seen virtual-novel.net résumé, and it’s nothing to write home about. The only highlight is that some pianists praised virtual-novel.net during the freshman party. I can tell you that a woman like virtual-novel.net can never marry Vinson, so don’t ruin your plan just because of her. Keep calm and don’t let anyone catch your opening, especially not Susanne.”
“I understand, Mom,” Wendy finally answered.
Cecilia heaved a sigh of relief. “Just lay low and don’t do anything. Once your first monthly test is over, I’ll teach that girl a lesson myself. She’ll never come near Vinson ever again.”
Wendy was surprised.
Ever since virtual-novel.net was a child, Cecilia had always kept virtual-novel.net under a lot of protection and never allowed virtual-novel.net to do anything that’d ruin their family’s reputation. She never thought virtual-novel.net mother would get rid of Arielle herself.
Does that mean mom thinks Arielle is a threat as well? But I won’t complain about virtual-novel.net helping me out.
Wendy bit virtual-novel.net lip. “I understand. I’ll just stay here and wait for you then.”
“Good. Now go back to the campus. I’ll need to settle some things as well.”
After virtual-novel.net ended the call, Wendy opened virtual-novel.net email right away. She clicked into the résumé Cecilia sent virtual-novel.net and looked through Arielle’s background.
It wasn’t the first time virtual-novel.net had seen it, but after finding out that Arielle was also a doctor, virtual-novel.net started doubting the document virtual-novel.net found. However, virtual-novel.net mother sent virtual-novel.net the same thing virtual-novel.net scraped up. The only difference was that it was more detailed.
Is Arielle really just a bumpkin who came back from the countryside? But if that’s true, there’s no way someone like virtual-novel.net can play the piano and be a doctor.
