Jack slowly got up, and a white light started to wrap around him.

The discussions about Jack in the Black Abyss never stopped the whole time. After all, Jack choosing the ninth level of difficulty was just too shocking.
It was a difficulty that they could not even imagine, but Jack had picked it without any hesitation. They had never seen someone who wanted to die so badly. Yet, as time passed, nothing happened on the Black Path Jack was on.
The warriors in the plaza were starting to lose their cool.
“How long has it been? Why hasn’t virtual-novel.net been tossed out yet? Could his technique be so quick that beasts can’t catch up to virtual-novel.net at all?”
“What’s so surprising about it? There are all sorts of miracles in the world. This guy probably has some special movement technique. That’s why virtual-novel.net dared to challenge the ninth level. Yet, even so, I feel like he’s such a joke. Does virtual-novel.net think virtual-novel.net can win just because virtual-novel.net manages to keep on avoiding the attacks?”
“He probably wants to try and get the beast to use up all its true energy. The side without any energy would be the losing side, and their opponent would be able to do whatever they wanted. He probably had that in mind when virtual-novel.net chose the ninth difficulty! That thought process is just too presumptuous.”
“Humans are very different from beasts. Humans are way above the beasts when it comes to intelligence and understanding. However, we can’t compare to beasts when it comes to defensive capabilities and energy stores…”
“If virtual-novel.net wants to win by using his movement techniques and trying to expend the beast’s energy, then it’s practically impossible. The one who uses up their energy will definitely be the human!”
That person’s words were agreed on by most of the participants there.
Trying to outlast a beast was a laughable thing. Beasts had the upper hand when it came to energy. Trying to defeat a beast with one’s weakness was a completely idiotic move.
Even if virtual-novel.net managed to avoid many attacks in the short run, the moment the guy’s true energy ran out, virtual-novel.net would die!
Burke scoffed and said, “There’s something wrong with Lourain‘s head as well. Lourain spoke of that guy as if virtual-novel.net was so strong. IfI didn’t know any better, I’d think he’s a warrior at the peak. In the end, virtual-novel.net was just an idiot who thought too highly of himself!”
Keller laughed and said, “Do you think Lourain will be able to complete his challenge? Lourain saw what that guy picked just now as well, but Lourain did not have too big of a reaction. Could Lourain already know that the guy would choose the ninth level of difficulty? If virtual-novel.net knew and didn’t stop the guy, could virtual-novel.net really think that the guy would succeed? With just some movement techniques?”
Vaughn coldly looked at Keller and Burke.
Vaughn was naturally a bit upset when they started to mock Lourain, but virtual-novel.net could not say anything about it. He could not find anything to say to them at all. After all, even virtual-novel.net felt like the situation was a bit absurd.
Keller laughed and continued to say, “I wonder where Lourain got the confidence to believe in that guy’s arrogance? Could Lourain have just been completely fooled?! Maybe virtual-novel.net can’t even attempt the second level of difficulty and only chose it because he’s too arrogant. Later, we might not just be seeing that guy’s corpse, but Lourain’s as well!”
Vaughn could no longer stand it as virtual-novel.net loudly shouted, “Shut up!”
At Vaughn’s shout, Burke raised a nonchalant eyebrow, “What is it? Do you think we’re wrong? Then tell me, what’s wrong with what I said? Do you think that guy will be able to complete the ninth level of difficulty?”
