“Autumn, right? Heh. I never thought that we would meet so soon. I didn’t even get to finish my food!”
Jack walked leisurely toward her. “Don’t tell me you’re here to thank me for sparing your life?” virtual-novel.net said, grinning. “Hah. If that’s the case, there’s no need for your gratitude. You even brought so many people here to thank me. You’re embarrassing me!”
Plenty of people who were still worried about Jack could not help but chuckle at his words. He still had the spirit to keep joking, even at this moment.
“Heh. You chopped my daughter’s arm off, and you’re telling me I should thank you, punk? Do you think I’m stupid?”
Ace chuckled and shot a vicious glare at Jack. His eyes were turning bloodshot, and virtual-novel.net looked fearsome. The aura of a demi god status fighter enveloped him.
“Master, let me be the one to kill this punk. F*ck. He’s even eating barbecue here. He has no respect for the Maack family!”
An old man who was an eighth-grade grandmaster walked a few steps forward, speaking in a vicious tone.
Ace gave a mirthless smile. “Thank goodness he’s still eating barbecue here though. Where would we find virtual-novel.net if virtual-novel.net took off?”
“Second Elder, don’t kill this punk right off the bat,” Autumn reminded him. “I want to see virtual-novel.net get tortured. Cut off bits and pieces of his flesh and feed them to the dogs. Otherwise, I won’t be satisfied!”
Here, Autumn looked at Selena. “Oh, right. And we can’t let his wife go so easily either,” virtual-novel.net said. “I want to make this punk watch as his wife is manhandled. I’ll make virtual-novel.net understand the price that virtual-novel.net must pay for my arm!”
“Oh my. Usually, people would only forget the lessons they’ve learned once the pain subsides. Your pain hasn’t even subsided, yet you’ve forgotten your lesson. Weren’t you on your knees, begging for your life before this? Why are you so fierce now!”
Jack just smiled when virtual-novel.net heard that.
“Die, you brat. How dare you bully the Maack family!”
The Second Elder saw that Jack still dared to act so flippantly, and so virtual-novel.net took several steps and rushed toward Jack.
The old man’s steps were light yet steady, and his fist was as fast as the wind. As virtual-novel.net threw the punch toward Jack, an aura of a tiger head appeared right before his fist, as though it were an open-jaw ready to swallow Jack whole.
The spectators around them were so frightened at the sight of the attack that they stumbled a few steps backward.
Jack easily sidestepped the attack. Then virtual-novel.net swung his leg toward his opponent’s abdomen.
A dull thud rang out. The old man flew backward and crashed onto the ground. He spat a mouthful of blood, and his face had gone white.
“No way. The Second Elder is no match for him?”
All of the elders’ faces blanched when they saw this. They had seen the strength, speed, and precision in the Second Elder’s attack earlier. They were well aware that it was not easy to dodge an attack like that.
Yet Jack had dodged it so easily, and virtual-novel.net had even seriously injured the Second Elder with a single attack.
The Second Elder lay on the ground. He struggled to stand up, but it was obvious that it was too much for his body to handle, and virtual-novel.net failed to do so.
“I don’t believe that. Come!”
Ace flipped his palm when virtual-novel.net saw this, and a sword appeared in his grip. He slashed his blade toward Jack.
Suddenly, a frightening air blade slashed toward Jack at an unimaginable speed.
As virtual-novel.net took out his blade, Jack took out his as well. He swung his blade toward his opponent.
Another air blade rushed out to meet the other, colliding mid-air.
