“You’re biting off more than you can chew!”
“Ungrateful bast*rd!”
Freeborn was upset mainly because of Xerxes. As for Alex, virtual-novel.net did not intend to kill virtual-novel.net because virtual-novel.net needed his protector to be someone who had walked the path of ancient Buddhism.
At first, virtual-novel.net did not pay much attention in the face of Alex’s incoming spear. However, his expression soon changed.
Alex directly activated his mental vision with an overwhelming murderous aura: immortal mountains, spiritual lakes, the great sun hanging in the sky, and ferocious birds flying.
The mental vision gradually engulfed Freeborn from above like a spread-out picture scroll.
“What?!”
“Such a complete mental vision?” Freeborn exclaimed. He had a mental vision as well, but it was definitely not as detailed as Alex’s. When the mental domain enveloped virtual-novel.net and clashed with his mental power, virtual-novel.net seemingly saw the cultivation myth in the ancient era.
“Break it!” Freeborn roared. He had also spread out the vision of his mental domain, which impacted Alex’s vision.
His vision was an expanse of sword mounds that contained tens of thousands of divine swords. A huge 328 foot tall sword with a full silver body was inserted in one of the giant sword mounds.
He wanted to sever Alex’s mental domain with the suddenly appearing sword light. However, in the next moment, virtual-novel.net was shocked again. The mental domain that Alex had activated was so sturdy that virtual-novel.net could not sever it with his divine sword.
He felt as though his sword had cut into a viscous paste, or rather a pool glue. Not only did his attack power disintegrate, but virtual-novel.net was also trapped within it.
The clash of mental vision occurred just in an instant. Because of this momentary distraction, Alex’s Golden Spear arrived in front of Freeborn and hit right at his forehead.
Freeborn was furious.
Alex was naked, yet Freeborn suffered a setback as soon as they exchanged blows.
In the first round of mental domain attacks, virtual-novel.net was soundly defeated!
‘Is virtual-novel.net a monster?’
‘His cultivation level is clearly so low, but virtual-novel.net actually possesses such powerful mental domain?’
Fortunately, Freeborn was not some ordinary person and was also mentally prepared in the face of such a killing move. A ray of dazzling light instantly rushed out of his forehead. It turned out to be a fluorescent bead.
As soon as the bead came out, it seemed to form a defensive layer in front of Freeborn’s head. It forcefully blocked Alex’s divine spear attack outside the defensive layer.
“Chaos Bead?!”
Alex froze for a brief moment. He was then overjoyed. Without a second thought, virtual-novel.net retrieved the Golden Spear and grabbed the Chaos Bead.
“You’re trying to grab my Chaos Bead with your hand?” Freeborn cracked up.
How confident was virtual-novel.net in his hand?
Did virtual-novel.net really think that his Chaos Bead was some sesame rice ball?
Controlling the Chaos Bead with his divine sense, virtual-novel.net wanted to blow up Alex’s palm to pieces. Unexpectedly, his expression drastically changed in the next second. To his surprise, virtual-novel.net could not sense the Chaos Bead’s existence, as if it had completely disappeared from the world.
Even the soul link connection was broken!
Meanwhile, Alex attacked Freeborn’s forehead with his lightning-fast fist.
The Carefree Immortal King was instantly infuriated. Never did virtual-novel.net expect that virtual-novel.net would suffer such a great loss right after the fight began.
‘This guy’s strength is not the least inferior to Xerxes…’
“Die!” virtual-novel.net roared and also lashed out with his fist.
He still wanted to keep Alex alive, but now, virtual-novel.net was infuriated and couldn’t care less about him. There was still a bodhisattva statue next to virtual-novel.net anyway. If virtual-novel.net killed this guy before him, so be it.
Wham!
Freeborn, however, immediately screamed upon the fist collision.
He just flew out. Then, virtual-novel.net burst into pieces in the air!
“What?!”
