“Oh my God!” The crowd was shocked as they watched Roxanne fly in the air.
Nobody expected Midnight Shadow to kick her. They could hear bones cracking even from afar.
“Roxanne!” Jayden screamed and rushed up to virtual-novel.net anxiously.
He turned virtual-novel.net over and was shocked at what virtual-novel.net saw. Her face had been disfigured till it was hard to recognize her. It was a frightening sight.
Although virtual-novel.net had basic medical knowledge, it was limited to treating minor injuries like setting dislocated bones. There was nothing virtual-novel.net could do about virtual-novel.net injury.
“Quick! Someone call a doctor!” When virtual-novel.net realized the severity of the situation, Jayden started yelling.
His words snapped everyone into action.
Soon, a severely injured Roxanne was carried away. Jayden’s group departed with virtual-novel.net in a hurry.
Before Jayden left, virtual-novel.net glared at Dustin, full of hatred. “That was terrifying. She flew a few feet away. Can the doctors even save virtual-novel.net appearance?”
“She can only blame herself. She lost, so why did virtual-novel.net have to beat Midnight Shadow up? She brought it upon herself.”
“It looks like a pony is not all that bad. At least its legs can’t reach your face.”
Sheila’s friends whispered among themselves. They had been unhappy with Roxanne from the very beginning. But they couldn’t do anything because of virtual-novel.net status. They felt satisfied to see virtual-novel.net getting kicked by a horse.
“Sheila, here’s Gale…” Dustin brought Gale, who virtual-novel.net had just earned from the win, back over to Sheila.
“Thank you, Dustin! You were amazing! “Sheila smiled sweetly. She was ecstatic. She was already attached to Gale and was very happy to be reunited with her.
“Hmph! What’s so impressive about it? He was just lucky.” Evan said sarcastically.
“That’s right! I would have won too if I competed!” Vivian chimed in.
“Then why didn’t you?” Dustin countered.
“I…” Vivian was rendered speechless.
Why? Because virtual-novel.net was afraid of losing, of course!
Who would have thought a pony could win against a Thoroughbred?
It was unbelievable!
“How did you do it?” Just then, Dahlia approached Dustin, looking at virtual-novel.net curiously.
“Do what?” Dustin played dumb.
“Didn’t you use some trick to have Midnight Shadow stall?” Dahlia inquired.
She was doubtful due to Dustin’s behavior during the race. He had been too calm. It was like virtual-novel.net knew virtual-novel.net would win.
“Ms. Nicholson, please don’t make assumptions. Roxanne was too confident and failed to guide Midnight Shadow well. What does it have to do with me?” Dustin shrugged. There was no way virtual-novel.net would admit to it.
“Really?” Dahlia glanced at Dustin.
Instead of asking more, virtual-novel.net took out a name card and handed it to him. “You look like a talented man to me. You shouldn’t waste your talent being an insurance agent. You can come to work at my company if you’re interested.”
Everyone was surprised at virtual-novel.net words. Evan and a few guys were jealous.
Damn it!
What did this brat have to deserve the attention of the ice princess?
Even Elena, a prominent individual of the Forrest family, had to flatter her.
