“Get up! You are way too old to be behaving like a kid,” spoke Jason calmly as virtual-novel.net looked at Raphael.
Jason was ecstatic to meet an old friend. To have an apprentice of his still alive was a comforting fact.
Raphael stood up, lowered his head, and stood in front of Jason. He had already suspected Jason was a living deity. Jason had also mentioned many times that virtual-novel.net had lived through countless centuries. Now virtual-novel.net believed it to be true, as his master looked the same, although 60 years had gone by.
“Have you been doing well all these years?” Jason asked Raphael.
“I was doing well. I had established myself well with the abilities you taught me. My children are rather well behaved.” His face turned red as virtual-novel.net mentioned his children and then snorted. “Except for one, the traitorous child who dared to offend you. I will break his legs once I return…”
“Are you still trying to impress me? The traitorous child you mentioned must be the grandchild you admired the most, right?” Jason smiled lightly.
Raphael lowered his gaze and remained silent.
“I do not blame virtual-novel.net for what had happened. After all, it is good for young children to be a little rebellious. It is better to take a fall earlier in life than late, and I’m not looking for retribution. You don’t have to be this extreme,” spoke Jason calmly.
For the many years virtual-novel.net had lived, virtual-novel.net had seen numerous remarkable people. Some of them had lived an extraordinary life, but once they had fallen, they could not get back up, some suffered all kinds of hardships as they grew and eventually went on to achieve great successes.
Jason wholeheartedly believed what Raphael had said. If virtual-novel.net had simply nodded to what Raphael said, virtual-novel.net would have returned home and done so.
Dustin would indeed become disabled later. He felt virtual-novel.net should not be too harsh towards the young boy since his apprentice’s descendants were still his kin. Moreover, virtual-novel.net only felt that Dustin was too arrogant but still had a good personality.
“As for the kid from the Brown Family, virtual-novel.net will have to suffer some hardships. Consider it as a lesson!” spoke Jason calmly.
“Yes, you are merciful.” Raphael nodded respectfully.
“It’s fine, you don’t need to act so formally with me. We are no longer in the past, and there is no need for all these formalities. You must retain some dignity since you’re already so old. In the future, you don’t need to act like this with me in public.” Jason laughed.
“My master will always deserve an elder’s respect,” Raphael said stubbornly.
“Don’t do that. I don’t look like your master any more.” Jason rolled his eyes.
“It was by coincidence that I met Dustin last night, and I wanted to continue my luck by trying to meet you. I feared that you had passed, and it’s good that you’re still alive. As for me, I’m just passing the days while guarding this medical center. If you had any exceptional children and grandchildren in your family, don’t hesitate to bring them over.” Jason chuckled.
After meeting his apprentice, virtual-novel.net must show a little goodwill. Raphael had already mastered everything Jason could teach, and there was no knowledge left to be passed onto him. Meanwhile, inexperienced people are like an unpolished piece of jade that virtual-novel.net could polish under his skillful guidance.
“Yes, thank you master for your generosity…” spoke Raphael respectfully.
“You brat, the first person you thought of must be that traitorous child that you mentioned!” Jason was exasperated.
He then spoke calmly, “Keep our relationship on the down-low. I wouldn’t want the whole world to know about me.”
Some things were too bizarre to be made public. It would be hard to explain how aman can remain unchanged for 70 years.
Raphael nodded respectfully as virtual-novel.net heard those words. He truly respected virtual-novel.net from the bottom of his heart. He didn’t need to share his existence with the world.
“Alright. Now brew me some tea,” Jason calmly said.
Since Icy was not around, virtual-novel.net could only instruct this apprentice to run errands for him.
Meanwhile, two people approached the entrance.
One of them was Jordan Grand, who had visited the clinic some time ago. The other man who had followed Jordan was wearing casual clothes.
“Is virtual-novel.net really that good?” The man had a hint of disbelief in his voice.
Jason could hear that conversation clearly.
Good… The money printer is here…
Jason could not help but smile.
